Chris Frommelt founded Frommelt Equipment in 1997.  Chris started working in the loading dock and commercial door industry in 1985, having previously worked for Frommelt Industries in Dubuque, IA and the Rite Hite Corporation in Milwaukee, WI.

Our main office is located in North Reading, Massachusetts, with regional offices in Southern New Hampshire, Rhode Island/Southeastern Massachusetts and Central Massachusetts.

We represent the leading manufacturers in loading dock equipment, safety equipment, industrial doors, HVLS fans, cooler/freezer doors, fire doors, in plant material handling equipment and a wide variety of aftermarket products. All of these manufacturers produce solution based products that are backed by the best warranties and customer service in the industry.

Our sales team consists of six Territory Managers who are strategically located to react quickly to all of our customer needs. In many cases our experienced team can diagnose problems and come up with solutions without the need of a service technician saving both time and expense.

Our service department is equipped with 16 service trucks and offers 24/7 service so that we can react to all of our customer’s service needs in a timely fashion.  All of our techs are factory trained and are prepared to meet every company’s PPE requirements.

Our service and sales teams are backed up by a customer service driven administrative staff.  We are here all day to handle your every request.
